Wedding Weekend Part I: Rehearsal

Wrapping Up Summer

Since I'm so far behind in my posting, I'm going to wrap up summer in one big post.  Here's what we did:

We watched Trevor and Megan get married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony 

 We celebrated Kaitlin with another shower at the Tacoma Yacht Club

 Lori came for a visit ...

 ... and we celebrated Ashley's birthday

 We hung out at the Point Defiance Zoo

We had a couple of fun playdates 

 And we enjoyed some sunshine with friends

The Palmers Come to Visit

 The Palmers came to Washington in the middle of August and we were lucky enough to have them stay with us for one of their nights here. We had a fun night in with lots of talking, laughing, and eating Kristin's  Washington's favorite - Round Table Pizza! Kristin and Max are ready to welcome their second son, Cruz Palmer in October so this was probably their last trip as a family of three.  Can't wait to meet little Cruz!

10 Months!

Laken turned 10 months on August 6, 2011.  I may have gone a little overboard on the pictures, but I just love how these capture my little on-the-go speedy girl.  

Laken took her first steps exactly on her 10 month birthday and she's been walking more and more throughout the month.  Just this weekend she took 11 steps all at once! She is starting to get into everything and is so curious and joyful.  I am so lucky to be her mommy!
