Ella Turns One!

Ella celebrated her first birthday down at Angela and Jon's lake place in Olympia this weekend.  The pretty little princess had lots of fun with playtime in the water, a yummy BBQ lunch, her very own cake, and lots of presents ... all surrounded by grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and friends.  This girl is loved.  Could she be much more adorable?

Our good friends Becca and Kim made it down for the occasion too.  A real treat since they both still live in Seattle and we don't get to see them as often anymore.  We had a great time.  Happy Birthday Ella!

So You Think You Can Dance ... Baby Edition

Our friends Lars and Bailey threw a BBQ for Stephen's dental class last weekend and not only did we get dinner, but a show as well.  The videos are of their little boy - what a personality he has! He was the cutest thing ever, and I just had to share these precious videos.

Bike #3

The whole family chipped in to buy Kaitlin a mountain bike for her college graduation present.  We surprised her with it last weekend, and she has already started riding it to work! 

Her and Stephen are two peas in a pod.  When they get ride, they ride hard - doing all kinds of fun jumps and tricks with their bikes.  I personally like to keep both my wheels firmly planted on the ground, but those two are definitely fun to watch.

We celebrated the 4th of July at our good friends Angela and Jon's new lake place.  The weather was perfect near 90 degrees and the water was fine.  We had such a fun time!
