Meow Meow!

We added a new addition to our family on Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Little Zoe Hansen is the teeny tiniest little kitten - poor little punkin was abandoned with a couple of her siblings behind Forza Coffee. She is really a handful and is constantly getting into something. Plus, when she doesn't get what she wants (which is pretty much all the time because I think she really just wants to be bigger) she lets out the most blood curling screams ... omg, what did we get ourselves into!?! Oh, but just look at that face ....

Father's Day

Father’s Day this year was June 15th. We had everyone over to the house and Stephen cooked a scrumptious brunch for us all (he was a good sport after I nominated him the cook only a few hours before the big day). It was great to have everyone together to celebrate our dads.

Day at the Beach

Last week Northwest Beaches saw the lowest tides since 1986. I have some very fond memories of a field trip I took as a kid to Brown's Point Beach on a low-tide day - I remember finding all kinds of sealife, collecting "treasures" in a bucket, and just loving every minute of it. Saturday the tides weren't as low as they had been mid-week, but we still got to see some fun stuff. We headed out to Sunnyside beach in Steilacoom with my parents ...
Stephen's fast, but the guey ducks were much faster

I was really proud of myself for finding this crab, but I had to let Stephen pick it up before I would touch it. Luckily, no one got pinched and we put Mr. Crab right back where we found him :-)

What a cute little baby starfish!

Celebrating Angela and Ella!

Baby Ella Horwath is due July 14, 2008
We threw a baby shower for the mommy-to-be on May 31, 2008 and could not be more excited for Angela and Jon. They are the first couple in our group of friends to go on this journey and we are so thrilled for them!
