We took a trip to Arizona
I was so lucky to get to spend a full week with one of my oldest and dearest friends in Arizona in the middle of June. Kristin and Max were so kind to open up their home to me and Laken - Max was gone flying for most of the time I was there so it was just us girls + Hudson. We had such a fun time getting in some relaxation, fun and time in the sun. Thanks for a great time Kristin!
(I have more pictures of this trip, but Stephen highjacked the photocard and took it to the office. Hopefully, I will get it back soon and be able to post more)
The kids had lots of fun together. Laken acted the part of the "annoying little sister" very well ... she especially liked to chase Hudson around in the walker. Hudson is going to be a big brother in just a few weeks, and he is definitely up for it. He was such a good kid - he was patient with Laken, never got rough with her, and didn't even get jealous when Kristin held her. Little Cruz Palmer is going to be a lucky little brother!
Laken lost more of her hair and learned how to use the dishwasher ;)
Stephen went on a dental/medical mission trip in the Amazon jungle.
He took millions of pictures, and I'm not probably doing them justice, but here are a few - SOOC (straight out of camera)
The dentist is in!
They worked all day in extreme heat and humidity. It was exhausting.

Miguel was a great asset to the team. Not only did he assist Stephen with dental procedures, but he led worship as well. Stephen said it was beautiful. Miguel would sing a worship song in English and the people already know it and would sing in Portugese.
Miguel also did something really stupid.

Tons of people came to get care
Stephen came home on Father's Day - his very first Father's Day. I missed him more than I could have even imagined. Because he was so far into the jungle, we couldn't even talk on the phone. We haven't ever gone that long without talking. It was really hard for me, but I couldn't have been more proud of him.
And we spent some time at Mt. Rainier
