Baby It's Cold Outside!

 We've been cooped up with colds this week so today we decided to venture out into the beautiful sunny day and go for a walk along Ruston Way. BUT, once we got out there we realized it was FREEZING! Seriously, with the wind blowing off the water it felt colder than the top of Crystal Mountain.  We ended up at Starbucks instead where I snapped some pretty cute pics of my two favorite people...

Valentine's Day

 We brought cupcakes to Stephen's office on Valentine's Day

Always fun to see Daddy at work!

Baby's 1st Trip to Crystal Mountain (with many more to come!)

 Our second stop on our Valentine's weekend: Crystal Mountain!

As you probably know, we LOVE to ski.

 So, while she may be too young to actually hit the slopes just yet, we were so excited to take Laken up on the Gondola to the Crystal Mountain summit.  

Fun ride up! 

Laken loved it, Daddy took lots of pictures, and Mommy didn't look down.

 It was very very cold at the top, but that didn't stop Laken from smiling, squealing, and squirming with delight.  There's something about the icy cold breeze on her face that she kind of likes.

Back in the Lodge.

Laken and I let Stephen spend an hour on the slopes while we stayed comfy and warm in the Lodge.  I read and she slept.

 Ending the day with a diaper change.

She's a no fuss kind of girl ... change my diaper in the car? Sure! Why not!

Day Trip to Bremerton

I've been really anxious to get out of the house lately so we decided to spend the Valentine's Day weekend day tripping together.  First stop. Bremerton? 

We had originally planned to go to Bainbridge Island on Saturday, but the forecast predicted rain so we didn't want to go too far.  We ended up in Bremerton.  Not a very pretty town, but we still had fun.

 While we were at lunch, the rain started coming down.  And it came down in buckets.

The three of us huddled under one umbrella and hurried down the street to the Naval History Museum.  We arrived to an adorable sight of three "older people" waiting anxiously for new visitors.  We were only the third group of the day. Ha!

 Laken was in her Bjorn so she was perfectly content - seriously, we can take her anywhere as long as she's in that thing!

 Bremerton may not have been the most exciting town we've been to, but we had a great day.  I love these guys so much and it doesn't really matter where we go as long as we're together.

Valentine's Day Brunch

Angela hosted a yummy Valentine brunch on Friday.  

Great food and the babes were so cute in their red and pink hearts!

I've been getting some laughs from Laken lately. It's the cutest little sound and I will do anything to get one out of her!

My Fun Day

I had such a fun day on the Tacoma waterfront last week.

We got to hang out with my buddy King and his mama.  First we had lunch and I wanted to be out of my infant seat the whole time!

Then we went for a walk along Ruston Way and I wore my new sunglasses and rode in the Baby Bjorn with Mama ... Walking around in the Bjorn is one of my favorite things to do!

King didn't like the sun too much but it sure was fun to hang out with him!

We walked to Starbucks so Mommy and Liza could feed their coffee addictions and I could take a little nap.

Then we walked back to the car and I looked at the water and the sky and all the birdies.

Did I say how much I LOVE riding around in the Bjorn!?!
